COUSINS FAMILY REUNION
AUGUST 9 & 10, 2014
St. Mary’s Catholic Church Parish Hall

Masses: Saturday – 5:30 pm & Sunday 9 am
SATURDAY –TheParish Hall will be open at 10 am. We anticipate that those traveling from a distance will begin to arrive throughout the day. There will be no formal program on this day but there will be some entertainment for the children in the afternoon as well as the local swimming pool and golf course. All displays, photographs, books and genealogical materials will be available. Family visiting and getting acquainted will be the order of the day. Mass will be offered at 5:30 for the safety of the families traveling and the success of the reunion.
Saturday afternoon and evening will be a pizza party for those in attendance as well as some extended family members. A donation will be taken at that time. If you would like more information on this shoot me a comment or send Joan a note, or give her a call.
SUNDAY – The 9 am mass will also be said for the safety and success of the family reunion, with the Parish Hall opening at 10 am.
A golf scramble is planned for Sunday morning at Fox Hollow. Fees will be paid directly to the golf course. Details on the scramble will be posted here soon.
There will be games and other fun things to keep the children entertained. Ancestry charts, descendants lists, and other genealogical materials as relating to the Webers, Dondlingers, Brysons and Edwards will be on display. A large plat map of Fillmore County will be available with the sites of the family farms shown. Smaller handouts of the maps will be provided with the sites marked so you can conduct your own driving tour. If the bags aren’t too heavy I’ll be bringing along some books that I’ve picked up that pertains to the different lines. If you have something like that to share, please make sure you have your name on it and bring it along! We are still actively seeking photographs to use in the slide presentation. Don’t tell anyone I said this, but even if you bring your photos on a disc on that day, we’ll find time to pop it into the slide show. The more the merrier!! A photo slide show, family memorabilia, and a silent auction will round out the morning. Family group shots will be taken throughout the morning. We will have blank family group sheets to fill out if you would like. If you have other information that you would like to share, it would be much appreciated!

12:30 pm – Family dinner catered by the Sutton Legion Hall. Everyone must be preregistered, prepaid and on the guest list in order to join us for dinner. We thank you for your cooperation.
